ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL AGENCIES-ONE THAT CONSISTENTLY RETURNS MILLIONS AND MILLIONS EACH MONTH TO OUR STATE'S SCHOOLS, IS BLESSED TO HAVE THIS MAN AT THE HELM OF THIS SUPER-IMPORTANT STATE DEPARTMENT.
Aubrey Dunn is a native New Mexican and has been in agriculture and ranching his entire life; He is devoted to the conservation of our resources. He was raised on a small apple farm in the community of High Rolls near Cloudcroft, NM and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Animal Science. Aubrey worked for 25 years in the financial industry, including the last ten of which was as CEO/President of First Federal Bank of New Mexico.
Aubrey and his wife, Robin, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this year along with the arrival of their second granddaughter. They ranch between Mountainair and Carrizozo, New Mexico. Their three children all graduated from New Mexico State University. Their son, A. Blair Dunn, is an attorney and lives with his wife, Beky and daughter, Harper in Albuquerque. Their daughter, Dr. Jamie Dunn, practices optometry at UNM Hospital. Their youngest is Jed Dunn, a soil specialist with National Resources Conservation Service, who lives with his wife Colleen and daughter Alannah in Wessington Springs, South Dakota

 CONSTANTLY AND PUBLICALLY SINGLED OUT BY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS ONE OF TWO "MUST TAKE" [IN THIS CASE "MUST KEEP"] OFFICES IN THE JUST-CONCLUDED ELECTION WAS WON BY AUBREY  BUT CONFIRMATION WAS NOT TO BE HAD WITHOUT AN EXPENSIVE STATE-WIDE RE-COUNT THAT, IN THE END, GAVE AUBREY, 'AGAIN' THE WIN!!
