Our Program

Yes, Virginia, Santa Fe is First in some things.
We are constantly bombarded with bad news about how Santa Fe and New Mexico are always last in any number of Categories.

Well here is some good news!!

As part of the Capitalist Forum's ongoing monthly presentations,
We are pleased to bring you news about cutting edge Businesses located right here in Santa Fe.

For this First in our Series about Santa Fe Firsts, we present Deep Web Technologies, a pioneering company developing techniques to search deep into university, business, and government data troves that Google and Yahoo can't even touch.

We won't bore you with technical descriptions of what or how Deep Web Technologies does what it does.
Suffice it to say that researchers from Universities to Fortune 500 companies need this type of technology.
Deep Web Technologies is one of the top companies in this field, counting Boeing, Stanford University and Intel among its clients.

Find out How and Why Deep Web was born here and what it means for future jobs and investments right here in the Land of Enchantment.
And what about the City and State governments....are they helping or hindering Deep Web Technologies.

Listen as President and Founder Abe Lederman talks about the challenges and advantages of developing a cutting edge company in Santa Fe.
Will this be the next Google, or Oracle?

Abe Lederman:
Abe is a pioneer and recognized leader in searching the Deep Web with 25 years of experience in information retrieval. Abe co-founded Verity in 1988, a leader in text retrieval. While consulting at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the mid-nineties, Abe made major contributions to the “Library without Walls” program, developing one of the largest web-based applications at the time. So, keep bringing your friends.
MAKE NO MISTAKE..our assembly, questions and comments each month are having a significant effect in Santa Fe, the State and way, way beyond!!!
